The Carlson Quartet was founded by Carrie Ann Carlson (Violin) and Denise Kuehner (Cello) in 1977 during their first years of teaching instrumental music in Porter County.

The quartet continued to thrive over the years (some years booking over 35 weddings and events) and was rekindled this last year adding Lewis Stahl (Violin) and Anna Anderson (Viola) to the ensemble.

All of the members are accomplished performing musicians with Masters of Music degrees from Notre Dame, Northwestern University, and Indiana University South Bend.

They play a broad range of music of all genres and styles: from Haydn (String Quartet Opus 77 #1), Mozart (Eine Kleine Nachmusic), and Debussy (Clair de Lune) to more contemporary selections from today's favorites.

The program promises to be musically satisfying while offering interesting selections for all musical tastes.
