Sunday, October 3, 2010, 3:00 P.M. - Swingin' The Benny Goodman Song Book
    Benny Goodman's clarinet helped define a whole new style of music in the 1930s. Swing clarinetist Allen Vache, pianist Mark Shane and jazz vocalist Terry Blaine bring you his classic popular songs and dance music. So powerful and exciting then, and still captivating today. Sample program may include Tiger Rag, Lulu's Back in Town, I Can't Give You Anything But Love, Time On My Hands, Why Don't You Do Right, and Carolina Shout.

Thursday, November 11, 2010, 7:00 P.M. - Navy Commodores Jazz Band
    The Navy COmmodores enseble presents a special Veterans' Day concert. This ensemble is performing here by special arangement with the La Porte Community Concert Association and the City of La Porte. The concert is free but tickets are required and will be available at select locations in La Porte before the concert.

Saturday, November 20, 2010, 7:00 P.M. - Intersection Trio
    Violinist Laura Frautschi, cellist Kristina Reiko Cooper, and pianist John Novacek, and their group Intersection, have forged a powerful connection with audiences world wide. The trio performs a varied program of repertoire from all poarts of the musical world with vitality, verve, and diversity. Sample program:  Debussy's Claire de Lune, Bernstein's West Side Story, Bizet's Carmen Suite, and Goerge Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.

Tuesday, March 15, 2011, 7:00 P.M. - Simon & Son, Piano Duo
    With innovative programs ranging from Beethoven to the Beatles and Liberace and Wipeout, pianist Peter & Saling Simon present a heartwarming evening of popular and classical music interspersed with wonderful stories and comedy. The only father/son piano team in America brings you a dazzling one-of-a-kind presentation for all ages to enjoy. Sample program:  Mack the Knife-Kurt Weill, Sabre Dance-Khachaturian, Malaguena-Lecuone, Hungarian Dance #5, Brahms.

Monday, April 25, 2011, 7:00 P.M. - The Marlins
    The Marilns have entertained audiences all over the U.S. and Canada for over 25 years and we bet you've never heard a group of entertainers quite like them. These brothers will perform music ranging from Braodway to Beatles to Back, while singing and playing over 20 instruments. Sample program:  Wichita Lineman, Beatles Medley, Beach Boys Medley, Stardust, In the Mood, In the Still of the Night, Ghost Riders in the Sky, Unforgettable.
